Rushden railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rushden railway station is a railway station once serving the town of Rushden in Northamptonshire, England.
The station was an intermediate stop on the Wellingborough-Higham Ferrers railway line that closed in 1971. The station has been restored and forms the headquarters of the Rushden Historical Transport Society and includes the Rushden Station Railway Museum. One of the society's aims is to re-open the line as the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway.
