Talk:Rum-running
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page should definitely be moved to Rum-running. Nobody writes "rum running" anymore (if they ever did), and the excess capitalization is just plain wrong. -- Quuxplusone 07:26, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] GA review
This article is clearly writted, informative, and interesting. Sadly, though , the new GA policy requires in-line citation (to a reasonable amount), and, though it gives its sources, this article doesn't say which is used where. Add that in (or add additional sources that cite the information), and this article will surely pass on resubmittal.
I'd say mainly the McCoy stuff should be cited. The rest'd probably be fine with a couple (accurate) cites here and there. Adam Cuerden talk 02:47, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bootlegging
The disambiguation page for bootlegging sends people to this page. However most of the articles with a link to bootlegging are regarding US prohibition and related cross land alcohol smuggling and creation as opposed to traditional rum-running.
This page could do with expanding this side of the issue to make it more relevant to those pages linking to it. Either that or if there is a significant difference between rum-running and bootlegging maybe creating a new page or expanding the bootleg dab page into an article...? extraordinary 12:25, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] change rum-running to bootleggers
I think that they should put it back to bootleggersRicky (talk) 02:06, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
