Rudy Gunawan (born December 31, 1966) is an Indonesian badminton player.

Gunawan competed in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics.
In 1992 he won the silver medal in the men's doubles competition together with Eddy Hartono.
Four years later he played together with Bambang Suprianto but lost in the round of 16.

After his retirement, Gunawan became an Assistant Pastor for a Charismatic Church in Los Angeles, California.
