RTL Nieuws

RTL Nieuws is a news program of the Dutch commercial television channel RTL 4 and is produced by RTL Nederland. The program broadcasts national and international news. Every day about 1.5 million people watch RTL Nieuws.
On weekdays the RTL Onbijtnieuws (RTL Breakfast News) airs from 6.45 AM till 9 AM. In the afternoon the RTL Nieuws program sends out at 4 PM on RTL 4 and at several other times on RTL 7. RTL Nieuws also has broadcasts at 6 PM, 7.30 PM and around 11.30 PM (these are the only transmissions broadcasted during weekends too).
The anchors for the RTL Ontbijtnieuws program are Jan de Hoop and Femke Wolthuis. As for the other RTL Nieuws programs Suzanne Bosman, Rick Nieman and Roelof Hemmen are the presenters of today's news.
RTL Nieuws' main competitor is the NOS Journaal program, which is broadcasted by the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation. For international news covering RTL works together with (amongst other media) the Flemish commercial television channel VTM.
