Roy Smiles (born c. 1966[1]) is an English playwright. Author of eighteen staged plays, he has gained acclaim in America, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden but has largely been ignored in his home country. Lives in London. Appeared as an actor in Operation Good Guys, The Bill, Frank Stubbs Promotes, Badger, Polanski's The Pianist and many adverts.
