Ross Leckie (Scottish writer)

Ross Leckie is a Scottish writer of historical novels, best known for his Carthage trilogy. He is not to be confused with the Canadian writer of the same name.

Ross Leckie attended the expensive private school Fettes College[1], where he gained his interest in classical literature. He later went to Oxford University where he studied Classics[2].
After that he worked on farms, as a roughneck and later as an insurance broker. He is now a full-time writer.
His book on Hannibal is currently in production as a film, Hannibal the Conqueror, directed by and starring Vin Diesel.
