Ross Anthony Catterall (born July 9, 1974 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England); better known by his stage name Ross Antony, is an English musical actor and rose to fame as a member of the R&B/Pop group Bro'Sis.

[edit] Early life
The Englishman by birth is descended from an artist's family and stood already at the age of three years for the first time on a stage. He received early singing lessons and dance lessons. After school he started in 1995 a three-year education in the Guildford School of Acting with a certificate. He spent his time in numerous pantomime's and musicals in England, and in 1997 an engagement as a „Field Marshall “ with the world premiere of the musical Catharine in Aachen his debut on a German stage allowed to celebrate. In this country he played many leading roles like „Claude “ in the musical Hair in Bremen, then Joseph in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Essen or „Tabaluga “ in Peter Maffay-Musical Tabaluga and Lilli in Oberhausen. Ross Antony has been married since 2006 with the opera singer Paul Reeves and are both currently living in Siegburg.
Bro'Sis
The career breakthrough Antony succeeded as a member of the group Bro'Sis. On 27th July, 2001 Antony applied with 2.031 other competiors for the second series of the popular tv show Popstars and won the judges over with the song Angels of Robbie Williams of himself. After he qualifed in the Re-Re-Call together with Faiz-Kevin Mangat with the duet "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" of Elton John for the airport show, he confessed tearfully that his professional obligations for the musical Hair in Bremen in the timely participation of the Workshops in Ibiza. After a one-hour time to reflect of the judges it was informed that he may take part, nevertheless, in the Workshop. There the stage pro made up fast for the missed again and was chosen at the end as a third by the judges in the group Bro'Sis.
In August, 2004, shortly before the appearance of the third Bro'Sis album, the singer came out as gay and introduced to the general public his friend, the British opera singer Paul Reeves.

Already before his time with Bro'Sis Antony published the solo CDs "Intimate" and "…and that’s the way it is" during his time with Tabaluga and Lilli.
Antony finished a 4-month guest's time with the Stuttgart Elisabeth production in June, 2005 where he played the crown prince Rudolf. There he got in his last appearance from his lifelong companion Paul Reeves on the stage a "marriage engagement". The wedding took place on the 2nd September, 2006 in Worpswede close to Bremen.
In December, 2006 he was to be seen in the role of Bobby C in the musical Saturday Night Fever in the old opera Frankfurt.
It was planned that Antony plays the role of mysterious Adam in the musical "Casino Pique Dame", a musical about the novella „Pique Dame “ from Alexander Pushkin in April, 2008. On the basis of commitment trouble for Antonys victory as " "King of the Jungle"" the show times were shifted to autumn, 2008. The participation Antonys remains doubtful on account of received projects furthermore. To the musical a single with Antony appeared on the 29th February, 2008 "Endlich Da". Besides the duet is on the single "Vor Gott sind alle Menschen gleich" which Antony with his partner has taken up, contain. This should offer a taste for a new album.
On the 18th January, 2008 the single "Dschungel Wahnsinn" of Achim Petry appeared, in which Ross with other candidates from the jungle camp was involved.
Nowadays Antony with Reeves and the Stuttgart producer Thorsten Frank works on his first solo album in the style direction Pop / Opera which will appear in 2008. A cover of the song "Right Here Waiting" from Richard Marx was to be heard moreover already in the broadcasting "Ross and Paul in Love".

Antonys biography The Inside Me has been published on the 18th March, 2007 in which Antony picks out Drogen, sexual abuse, experience of violence, lovesickness and lost joy of living as a central theme. In May / June, 2008 an English issue will be published.

- In March, 2006 became known that Ross Antony planned his film debut in the respect drama „Zurück to me “ in the role of the barkeeper Ryan. Beside Antony could be also won Lilo Wanders for the production. The film which is based on a true actual fact tells the love story between the German Marc and the Russian Andrej. In April, 2006 the production was finished on the basis of financial reasons.
- In the Sat.1 broadcasting flash Ross and Paul was emitted about several weeks the Soap "Ross and Paul in Love". In eight results the pair was accompanied by her wedding preparations.
- In September, 2006 Antony took part in the ox's running on ProSieben and won himself there with his partner Nadja Benaissa the fourth place.
- With the German cooking documentation of Come Dine With Me Antony could book the second place in September, 2007.
- From the 11th January up to 26. January, 2008 Ross Antony take part during the RTL show "Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!" to see on RTL where he has arisen as a winner („"King of the Jungle" “) before Michaela Schaffrath (place two) and Bata Illic (place three).
- On the 9th March, 2008 Antony again took part in the cooking documentation Come Dine With Me with „Jungel specially “, together with Michaela Schaffrath, Eike Immel and Barbara Herzsprung. Ross won the dinner with the full score.

Ross Antony is involved in social projects like the mercy court "Animal Hope" near Stuttgart and is an official ambassador for a Playmobil Elisabeth figure which was felt of the empress Sissi and whose proceed goes to the organisation society of the friends of the German heart centre Berlin. Antony donates the winnings and a part of his fee from "Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!" to the mercy court Animal Hope.
