I noticed that your talk page was a red link while reviewing this article. So I thought I'd say hi, and ask a question while I'm at it.
I think "modal score" and "mode" are synonymous. I looked at several references on the internet, and the authors who speak of "modal score" are calling the statistic they're studying a "score". For instance, in education the teachers typically speak of "scores" on tests. The "modal score" is the score that occurs most often. But if we call the scores "statistics", then the "mode" is the "statistic that occurs most often", which is the same thing as the "modal score".
Oh – the correct name for the article would be "Modal score", not "Modal Score". Please see WP:NAME.
I'd like to make "modal score" a redirect to the page mode, and add a sentence to that article explaining "modal score", if that's OK with you. Have a great day! DavidCBryant 23:46, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks modal score and mode are synonymous and I agree with the edit and the redirect. I wrote the modal score article because I came across a few references to modal score and was asked to put in a response on modal scores in a tender and thought it was worth explaining in an article. It also makes it easier for people to find modal score. However the redirect is a better solution. RonaldDuncan 16:07, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article @UK PLC, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. - Hi RonaldDuncan, Thank you for your message and questions on my talk page. My apologies for the delay in responding caused by some real life deadlines. My simple advice to you on this page is that you initially start to re-write the article up in a sandbox that you have created for your self as a sub-page details on how to do that can be found here. Once you have started you can let me know and I can find and copy and paste the original material to your sandbox. Then when you have the article at a verifibable stage you re-start the page and copy/paste your text over to it. It will remain safe in your sandbox until you do that. [edit] Speedy deletion of Jordans Ltd.
A tag has been placed on Jordans Ltd. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
