Ronald Nunan Preston (born July 15, 1958 in Newport Beach, California, USA) is an American retired former international motorcycle speedway rider who was World Junior Champion in 1979.[1] Preston was also the first American to take part in the World Junior Championships. Preston began his career at Poole in 1979 and spent two years there before moving to Eastbourne in 1982. He retired from the sport at the end of that season due to a knee injury. Preston also won a silver medal with the USA team at the 1980 and 1981 Speedway World Team Cup.
