Intro:

I am 31 years old Ukrainian born in Berezhany, Ternopil oblast of western Ukraine (former Austrian / Habsburg empire, Kingdom of Poland and in 1945-1991 - USSR)., October 28, 1975. Baptised and chrismated Orthodox Christian. Currently residing in eastern Norway (since 2000). Studied and lived in Lviv, Ukraine (1992-1997), Budapest, Hungary (1997 / 98), lived in Mittersill, Austria (1998-1999), worked in Warsaw, Poland (1999 - 2000), Leipzig, Germany (2004) and studied and worked in Oslo, Norway (2000 - 2006). Since Dec 2006 I live and work in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Ancestors:

Father's (Yevhen) ancestors' stem from Berezhany district (villages: Trostyanets, Kvitkove (former Bozhykiv), Saranchuky and Mechyshchiv), Ternopil region, Ukraine. One of father's grandmother of Polish nobility (Ciecierski count family).

My mother's (Lyubov) mother (Valentyna Kukharska) originates from the village of Karabachyn, Brusyliv district, Zhytomyr region west of Kyiv, Ukraine. Mother's adoptive father (Yevhen) was born and died in Lviv. Her biological father (Arkadiy Kukharskyi) lived and died (2003) in Kyiv, born in Komarivtsi in the vicinty of Letychiv, in Podolia. One of my mother's grandmothers stem from the village of Sulymivka, Yahotyn district, souther part of Kyiv region, Ukraine.

Education:

Attended Secondary School no. 3 (1981 - 1992) in Berezhany, western part Ukraine Graduated with diploma of teacher of history from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 1997 (attended in 1992 - 1997) and hold also MA in modern Central European History from Central European University in Budapest (1998) and MPhil in Nordic Medieval Culture from the University of Oslo, Norway (2002).

Interests:

History, theology, christianity, philosophy, religion, orthodoxy, scholasticism, christian metaphysics, geography, photography.
