Rogue Pictures is a division of Universal Pictures, which is a division of NBC Universal. It mainly produces and distributes low-budget action/horror films. It is similar to the Weinstein Company's Dimension Films (formerly a division of Disney-owned Miramax Films) and Sony Pictures Entertainment's Screen Gems. The company was launched in 2004 as a division of Focus Features[1]; in October 2007, the company became a division of Universal Pictures[2].
