Rod Fong

Rod Fong is a lawyer from Lethbridge, Alberta, who ran for office as a member of the Alberta Legislature in the 2004 Alberta Provincial Election.

Rod was not successful on capturing that seat, losing out to Liberal Candidate, Bridget Pastoor.

Rod Fong was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and is a practicing lawyer. He has received training in the areas of mediation and collaborative law and is a member of the Lethbridge Collaborative Law Association. He has served on various boards and commissions including as Chair of the City of Lethbridge’s Subdivision and Development Appeal Board.

His community involvement includes having served as the Chair of the Lethbridge Regional Police Commission, a Director on the Provincial Board of Community Savings Credit Union, a Member of the University of Alberta Senate, an elected Trustee for the Lethbridge Public School District and President of Lethbridge Family Services.

Rod Fong currently sits as a member of the Alberta Surface Rights Board and as a commissioner for the Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers' Compensation and continues a challenging and vibrant career as a lawyer in Lethbridge, Alberta.
