Shouldn't something be mentioned about his obvious lack of morals? In the Amazing Race, for example, he drove right past a crashed Land Rover containing other competitors, without even slowing down. A camera man was injured in the crash, and needed urgent medical assistance. Other teams stopped, or at least slowed down. Not to mention his incessant lying throughout the show.

He's da bomb!

Not really if you knew him.

There was already a team stopped at the accident site, by stopping at the accident site, he would not have been able to help the situation at all, so I don't see this as an "Obvious lack of morals". Also, when you Lie in a game, it is not immediatly a lack of morals. Almost every team lies to a certain extent during the course of the race, it's just common sense. Say a team has a flight that gets in at 2 pm, and another team asks them "Hey, the flight that get's in at 4pm is the earliest right?" The team is fully allowed to not reveal the earlier flight without being stated to have "obvious lack of morals" Pay attention next season, this fall, and you'll notice alot of teams, even fan favourite teams, will Lie to a certain extent during the race. With Rob Mariano, he has allways been one of the people that Polarize the viewers, I don't think the article is quite right to say that all the fans hate him, more accuratly 45% of them hate him, 45% really like him, and a smaller group, which includes myself, don't have a particularly strong feeling one way or the other. I feel the article might be more accurate to say he split fans rather then made them all hate him. Also, that whole thing about the show being rigged by producers wasn't thought up by Rob, it was on several message boards, posted by Rob fans and what not, withen minutes after the episode aired. Perhaps someone has a link to the original interview? I have a recolection that Rob didn't actually outright say the rigged it, moreso, when he was asked if it was rigged, he did not deny it, hence implying this was the case. Some may see this as a minor detail, but I think that this could be worth looking into.

The article about Mariano certainly has a very strong bias towards the Anti-Rob side of things. As someone who was in the middle of things, I often got tired of both all the rabidly Pro-Rob and rabidly Anti-Rob things I would allways see. Often, when I took the middle, I would debate both sides, therefor the Pro-Robs would all consider me to hate Rob because I disagreed with them, and the Anti-Robs would all consider me to love rob because I disagreed with them. So I'm sure some people will take it as me being all in love with Rob or whatever when I suggest this article needs to be changed slightly, but honestly, It shows a very strong bias, rather then showing Rob as the contestant that polarized fans that he really was. I just found an example too add to what i was trying to say earlier, if you read the Amber Brkich wiki, you'll note this entry on her being in the race: "While some felt that they brought new, exciting elements into the Race, others felt that they were using the program for their own ends, not the least of which was publicity to sustain interest" This is what I meen by not showing a bias, it discusses both the posative and negative feelings that viewers have for them. [edit] Reads like a fan site

If this page used to be negatively biased against Rob Mariano, it certainly isn't anymore. It reads like a fan site or an overly friendly magazine profile. ChrisStansfield 07:18, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clarification of IP address, mistaken revert, etc.

Hi, Will Beback. I see you reverted my edits to the page, which were all made in order to improve grammar, update the article to the present, and remove wikilinks that were excessively duplicative of past links. If you look closely, you will see that there was nothing malicious in those edits and that, in fact, my edits made better use of the English language than what was previously in place. I get the impression that you believe the edits were made by a sock puppet of a banned account. In truth, they were made by myself, but I had forgotten to log in under my own user name. If the banned account has the same IP as the computer I am currently using, I would venture a guess that all computers at the firm where I am currently temping use the same address. The fact that the banned account makes specific reference to a law degree would bear this out. I will ask that you not revert this a third time unless you look over the edits and find them objectionable for a legitimate reason. Thank you very much, ChrisStansfield 14:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] College?

It mentions he went to Xaverian, but that is a high school. Where did he get his BA? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.91.102.185 (talk) 09:14, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
