Robbie Bachman (born Robin Bachman, 18 February 1953, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a drummer and the youngest brother of Canadian guitarist, singer, and songwriter Randy Bachman.
Robbie Bachman was the original drummer for both the Brave Belt and Bachman-Turner Overdrive bands.
While growing up, Robbie practiced the drums at home, often playing along with his older brother Randy. At age eighteen, Randy offered him the Brave Belt drumming job, and Robbie accepted. When Brave Belt decided to change their name they came up with Bachman-Turner Overdrive. It was at this time that Robbie Bachman designed the BTO gear logo.
Bachman today enjoys semi-retirement along with his wife, Chrissy.
