Rob Coombes (born Robert Joseph Coombes, 27 April 1972, Oxford, England) is the keyboard player for Supergrass.
He is the older brother of Gaz Coombes and is the newest member of Supergrass, officially joining in 2002. He has a second younger brother, Charly, who was keyboard player in 22-20s.
However, before that he helped to write songs and also joined Supergrass on tour, where he has played keyboards since the band's beginning. Thus the band are credited on their first albums as Supergrass and Rob Coombes.
Rob is a qualified astrophysicist.[citation needed]
