Road Haulage Association

The Road Haulage Association (abbreviated as The RHA) provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry, including audits, risk assessments and contracts of employment. It also offers a large range of training, from Digital Tachograph training to Safe Loading.
Its head office is based in Weybridge, England, and other offices are found in Peterborough, Edinburgh, Bristol and Bradford. Each of these regions has helpdesks and Area Manager's to provide support for the Associations members. The company is currently headed by Chief Executive and former Politician Roger King.
The RHA provide dedicated campaigning in the haulage industry and were involved quite largely in the United Kingdom fuel protest of 2000, which was a major protest against the price of fuel and fuel tax.

Since the launch of Digital Tachograph's in May 2006, The RHA has been greatly involved in the implementation of the technology into the haulage industry, including the introduction of digital data downloading tools and digital analysis in the form of Smartanalysis software.
The association also provides dedicated training for use of Digital Tachographs.
