[edit] License tagging for Image:Tonyrich4.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Tonyrich4.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:04, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Azyet.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Azyet.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Notability of Ahmir
A tag has been placed on Ahmir, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Greatestrowerever 21:47, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Oleta Adams
You are obviously trying to enhance this article (with more expertise, and real passion for the subject matter, than many will have). However, what does "but faced the hard reality that many music executives had been consumed by the disco movement" really mean ? That record bosses were being eaten by disco music ?? As in "Night Fever, Night Fever, oh dear The Bee Gees have swallowed me whole" ??? On a serious level you need a reputable, citable source for such comments. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style for a start. Keep plugging away, but please do not waste energy, or time (I am 53 years old and there is not too much of that left for me), without thinking long and hard about the encyclopedic nature of Wikipedia. With the very best intentions,

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:49, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
