My name is Richard W. Allen of Loudonville, New York, USA. I am a casual historian. My topics of interest are American Industrial History, the history of Saxonville, Mass., Lustron homes, The History of Lowell, Mass., and the life of Theodore Roosevelt. I have visited both the Sagamore Hill National Park home and the TR Birthplace in New York to see the artifacts and study historical records related to the life of Theodore Roosevelt.

I live in a Lustron home, have studied this subject and produce a website, Lustron Connection.org.

I have been a lifelong photographer and enjoy doing photo documentation of actual and potential historic sites.

I also was a resident of Long Beach, California and spent many days aboard the nearby cruise ship Queen Mary. From this I have developed an interest and experience with pre-1955 cruise ships and have an older friend who has historical knowledge and reference materials on all the pre-1955 cruise ships.
