[edit] Several things
Dr. Carmona is not a Vice Admiral of the US Navy. Rather, he's a Vice Admiral in the United States Public Health Service. "Dr." is in his own biography on the website because Dr. is a term of respect for those who have earned a medical degree. It wasn't necessary to remove every instance of "Dr." from the article. --ABQCat 01:29, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] resignation
Why did he quit? Anyone have a reliable source that states this?
[edit] UCSF degree
since when has UCSF awarded bachelors degrees?
[edit] Global climate change and warming
I noticed that the reference to Dr. Carmona's statement on global warming was just changed to reference the more general issue of global climate change. I'm unclear as to why the editor did this, but didn't want to quickly revert a good-faith edit. In the reference, Carmona mentions the specific topic of global warming, so it seems most appropriate to me to reference that and not global climate change in this article. - Sorry, if he specifically used that term, it should be used in the article. The only reason I changed it is because "Climate change" is the more scientifically-accepted terminology.Athene cunicularia 18:01, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
