Richard Alexander Leman (born July 13, 1959 in East Grinstead) is a former field hockey player, who was a member of the gold medal winning British squad at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Four years earlier, at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he secured the bronze medal with his team.
Between 1973 and 1977, he was educated at Gresham's School, Holt, where he captained the school's First XI hockey team.
Leman won a total of 228 caps and was voted Player of the Year in 1984. He is a member of the Sport England South East Regional Board and Chairman of East Grinstead Sports Club Charity. Leman joined the Board of the English Hockey Federation in 2004 having served as a vice-president for the previous year.
