Ric Mercado

Ric Mercado is a Filipino composer, songwriter, arranger, and guitarist. He is one of the members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

He currently plays acoustic guitar and electric guitar as a session musician in many TV shows and concerts in the Philippines especially ASAP '07 that is premiered on ABS-CBN every Sunday afternoon and Pinoy Pop Superstar that is premiered on GMA Network every Saturday evening. He is the current musical director, arranger, and programmer on Starstruck, a Filipino reality teenage celebrity search also on GMA Network. He arranged the theme song for the Saturday morning show on GMA Network, Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko, sang by Aiza Seguerra and the song "Magmahal Muli", on Pinoy Big Brother's first season last 2005 sang by Sam Milby and Say Alonzo and composed by Sam Milby himself with Tagalog lyrics by Bob Dela Cruz and Nene Tamayo, two of his fellow housemates in Pinoy Big Brother.
