Coordinates: Revelganj is a city and an oldest municipality in Saran district in the Indian state of Bihar. This is the birth place of Hanuman ,the bhakt of RAM, this place is also known for Ahilya Udhar. Here we can found a temple of Maharishi Gautam, in the name of this saint this place is also know as GautamSthan. Revelganj is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 52 metres (170 feet). I also belong to this place and feel very proud to be chapriya. Mostly chapriya re dare and davil and framers. vist this place also birth place of first president of india.Revelganj is the oldest Municipality of Bihar. It was named after the English Magistrate Mr. Revel. Once Revelganj was main port for Business purposes. As of 2001 India census[2], Revelganj had a population of 34,044. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. I am also belong to this place. My sasural is also there.
