[edit] In regards to allegations

Could you give some information on where you are from or what is your education ? Have a good day. --Molobo 23:08, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PSW

With regard to this edit

  1. it has been explained to you that "totalitarian Russia" is unacceptable in this context. The consept of totalitarian is an anachronism to the early 20th century. Besides, as shown elsewhere in the article (with source), P. really didn't care about UA being "free and independent" and his consern was to make sure it is not part of Russia. Piotrus accepted this sourced claim and what you added implies the selfless sacrifice by Pilsudski for the sake of Ukraine, certainly an impossibility
  2. You added text to inside the quote. Did you modify the quote with your own words or did you initially paste an incomplete quote?

Please take care of these issues. I really don't want to revert you since you are probably trying to improve the article in good faith. But I hope you will see the issues I am raising. Regards, --Irpen 06:45, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] We are a friendly bunch. Usually

Usually on Wikipedia we assume good faith. However for reasons I explained on PSW talk page your edits were greeted by many, myself included, in bad faith. Please believe me that this is rare, and if you are who you say you are - a new editor who has gained his knowledge through lurking - the community will apologize and accept you. I'd really advise you to show that through doing edits to non-controversial topics. If one jumps into one of the most inflammatory topics out there, one should not be suprised to get burned a little. Please don't let this experience discourage you from editing Wiki, this is really an exception to the rule.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 22:27, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Beware of trolling

I see that you take pleasure in revert warring. You think it's fun, don't you? In this case I am going to disappoint you. If you develop a habit of reverting even the most harmless edits without prior explanation on talk page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I have seen dozens revert warriors like yourself and I don't recall anyone of these lasting long here. --Ghirla -трёп- 09:31, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Youre living proof of quite the contrary. Anyway, thanks for making my case.

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Ss galizien holy blessing.JPG

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Ss galizien holy blessing.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Hetar 20:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Just to say "Hi"

Hi again! I just stopped by to say Hi once more. I wathced your contributions for some time and despite several strong disagreements we had, I do think that we will get along just fine. Thanks for your contributions. Please try to keep them balanced and please try to learn how to cite sources within an article, not in edit summaries. Also, while it seems to me that you come from Poland and Portal:Poland is a place of you interest, please feel free to browse and familiarize yourself with Portal:Ukraine and Portal:Russia. Again, welcome. --Irpen 20:19, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Civility

Please avoid disrespectful remarks about other editors; see WP:CIVILITY. `'mikka (t) 03:39, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Care to substantiate your POV? Or is this only to fill my page with disparaging notices? Reichenbach 14:22, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Repeating: do not make disrespectful remarks regardless behavior of others. And do not read other people's minds. This always leads to troubles. I am writing this assuming that you are a new editor; if I am mistaken and you are a seasoned wikipedian (eg coming from other language wikipedia or a sockpuppet), then you know what to expect. `'mikka (t) 16:30, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Repeating once more: ...regardless behavior of others. This is not a pissing contest, this is writing encyclopedia. Argue articles, not editors. This is not a chat room. (Again this is written in the assumption that you are new. There are plenty of tough old troublemakers, please don't join their ranks.). `'mikka (t) 16:38, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

You wrote '...in your eyes': forget my eyes. I myself pretty much tolerant when someone calls me asshole (I know who looks like an asshole in such cases). Just try not to increase the amount of heat here. As for Vilnius, I did what you asked, but I am not a bot and not going to fix all other cities and towns, big and small. I care only about my watchlist. It is big enough to keep me busy. `'mikka (t) 17:11, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to wiki

Don't let all the others discourage you. Wiki is a great and friendly place, keep up the good job, stop the bad job and have fun here :) //Halibutt 17:17, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Seconded. I saw quite a few good edits from you. `'mikka (t)

[edit] Belarusian alphabet

Hi, I had to revert your edit on Belarusian language. While I agree that the already present info on Belarusian Latin alphabet is yet incomplete (although it wasn't me who wrote it), the various de gustibus "views" have nothing to do with what the writing system of the Belarusian really was -- and is. Let's not invent the facts. Cheers! ---Yury Tarasievich 08:16, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your reverts on Kiev Offensive

Hi,

I would like to point out that you could respect other editor's work. Wikipedia is all about consensus actually. However, reverting in block a considerable addition of content into an article is not quite advisable and might be considered as revert warring. If you have some concerns about sources, you're welcome to address them on the talk page.

Cheers, Grafikm (AutoGRAF) 12:06, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Per WP:NPOV, all interpretations must be included. And a source about Ukrainians describing themselves hardly qualifies as undue weight. I encourage you to read the policy again. -- Grafikm (AutoGRAF) 12:22, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Paris

That's a tough question. Century21.fr is the most important one, obviously, but the structure of real estate in France is very different compared to what you can get in other countries, because a lot of business goes through small proximity agencies... Hence it is quite difficult to find something without going there and looking... -- Grafikm (AutoGRAF) 11:10, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
