The ramaraj is the mythological "Rule of Rama" in Hindu mythology. It lasted for one thousand years in the Treta Yuga of Hindu time. It is mentioned in the Ramayana after Rama rescues Sita from the kingdom of Lanka with Hanuman's aid.
