Raleigh is an unincorporated community in Grant County, North Dakota, United States.

Raleigh is located at [1] A 1911 application for a new post office at Raleigh from the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, D.C. signed by C. C. Leonard (proposed post master) locates it in the northeast quarter of section 12 of Township 133 north, Range 86 west.[citation needed]

Raleigh is situated in what was originally Morton County but today is Grant County. Raleigh was created as a coaling stop for the Milwaukee Road and stores originally in Dogtooth, North Dakota were moved there leading to Dogtooth's eventual demise.[citation needed]
