Queensland School of Film and Television (qsft) is located in Brisbane, Australia. Established in 1992, Qsft is Queensland, Australia's longest operating film school. Qsft is a nationally recognised training authority offering fully accredited courses in all technical disciplines of filmmaking. Qsft specialise in the behind-the-scenes aspects of film and television and has established links with the local industry.

Qsft's premises are located right in the heart of a real working production studio. The school operates in an integrated environment with a fully operational production studio and post production company. This arrangement ensures that qsft students are exposed to state of the art facilities and benefit from a learning environment that encompasses real working productions.

Qsft offers a high level of quality hands-on experience, as students experience the practical reality of filmmaking, while exploring the finer creative points of this medium. Second year Diploma students undertake their major team project using 35mm motion picture film. Qsft is one of the few film schools in Australia that uses professional motion picture equipment.

Qsft currently caters for a broad range of people interested in the film and television industry, ranging from recent school leavers to adults wanting to either improve their skills or change professions entirely.
