Qore (pronounced "core") is a subscription-based high definition video on demand service available on the North American PlayStation 3. It is presented by PlayStation Network and produced by SCEA.

This service was officially unveiled on June 3, 2008 by the North American PlayStation Blog's Susan Panico[1]. Charges are $2.99 per episode or $24.99 anually (13 episodes). The latter includes a free PSN game Calling All Cars!.

Qore program is hosted by Veronica Belmont and features PlayStation brand related exclusive game news, in-game previews, developer interviews and behind -the-scenes.
Each monthly episode is available in 720p and lasts 1~2 hour[3]. However it's hard to measure since each episode consists of different types of content from videos to different types of artwork.
June episode (#01) features SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Secret Agent Clank, Soul Calibur 4 and Afro Samurai.

Qore episode subscription will give access to exclusive playable demos, betas, PSN games and add-on through the Download Center.
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta download is expected to be available with the June 2008's "Episode 01".

On June 6, 2008 the Qore icon will be accessible through the XMB's Game section. Once purchased Qore programs become available on the PlayStation Store's Download List. One who purchases the Qore Annual Subscription will get monthly episodes automatically added to his Download List.[4]
Qore is not compatible with the Remote Play function.

In the first episode of Qore, pressing L2 will start a mini game that is called "Death Orb."[5]
