Qnext is a instant messenger with P2P (P2Web)[3] broadcasting capabilities which allows users to share files and communicate with email and instant messaging contacts,[4] Voice over IP, video conferencing, multiple instant messaging protocols. It is cross-platform,[5] compatible with Mac,[6] Microsoft Windows, and Linux.[7]

Qnext communication capabilities include; all user IM and Email contacts in one place, 8-way VoIP,[8] 4-way Video Conferencing,[9] a multiprotocol instant messaging application that supports Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, Google Talk, IRC and MSN, drag and drop file transfer of any size, remote access to PC and shared applications, with P2P (P2Web) broadcasting.[10][11]

Qnext uses Java,[12] Service delivery platform, Hybrid P2P and Peer2Web (web 2.0) technology[13] within a development environment (SDK’s) to create new services by 3rd party developers. All services are plug-ins to the Qnext core with a high security level.[14]
