Hello, I am Pyrogen.

I currently live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have previously lived in Schaumburg, Illinois for a little while, with my Significant Other, who is also a Wikipedia User. Previously to that, I lived in several places in Florida, including:

For those wondering, my username is a parody from another non-Wikipedia user's pseudonym, which he refers to as his Avatar. With the capital A. As this user is known as Cryogen, and has some... issues... I am his polar opposite... Pyrogen.
My username is also a Wikipedia Entry, under fever, as a redirect.
[edit] Professional Knowledge Set
For those pages that I edit, between this and my userboxes, you should get an understanding of my position in editing security, firearms, and defensive tactics related articles.
I am currently the Regional Vice-President for a national protective services company, which provides Security police and Security Officer services. I have been in the security industry for 12 years, as an armed and unarmed uniform officer and supervisor.
I write a column for a national security officer assocation, as well as serve as a State Level Advisor to the association. I am on the association's training and standards committee as well.
I am conversant in 'Chapter 493, Florida State Statutes', as well as various chapters encompassing the "Criminal Code" of the State of Florida. Chapter 493 is considered the "Florida Private Security, Private Investigation, and Recovery Act," and governs private security officers in the State of Florida who work either armed or for contract companies.
In my userboxen, there is a userbox that lists my website. This is one of the two divisions of the corporation I work for. This one handles the IT functions of the corporation, and also the reason why I am a professional Systems Administrator, Webmaster, Graphics Artist, and Code Monkey. Its also the reason that I know C, VB, PHP, what MySQL is, why we should write in CSS and XHTML, as well as why we don't.
While I use tables extensively for layout, I do so because "those who pay the bills" would really like the pages I design to work in IE. Flawlessly.

I like OFP. A lot. I am currently learning the insane (but doable) amount of work it takes to create custom multi-player missions. I am especially fond of Ballistic Addon Studios work.

I have owned, on and off, a Commodore 64 of some variety (Version 1, 2, or 3) since I was 7 years old. To me, the C64 is part of my childhood, and through VICE, a C64 Emulator, I'm glad to say that I can still play with it.
I am active (as much as anyone) on the Quantum Link Reloaded system, usually going into Chat Connection with my screen name "Ayanami," and you can find me at odd hours poking my head in.

I keep a Userboxen farm. Its over there on the right hand side. I happen to like Wikipedia:Userboxes, they're cute and straight to the point.
While some people hate userboxen, I am of the personal opinion that it is better to show our bias and affiliations in our user pages, than on the articles of which we contribute and/or edit. I'm quite sure that there's a Wikipedia Guideline for that, but I'd have to find it.
If anyone would like to use my userboxes, please feel free to make them into full-blown templates. Please let me know on my talk page, so that I know other people actually like my attempts at content creation.
[edit] Userbox Images and Fair Use
I have recieved comments that using "fair use" images protected under US Copyright Law is a violation of US Copyright Law. I assert that due to the low quality of the images and that there is no profit from the derivative work, that the images are a "fair use" exemption the same way that other fan-created works are.
