Coordinates: Pudukad is a village situated on the banks of Kurumali River, also known as Karuvannur River, in Kerela. The village is 14 km to the South of Thrissur City and 16 km to the North of Chalakudy, and 45 km to the North of Nedumbassery (Kochi) International Air-port in Kerala, South India.

It is well connected by road and rail. The nearest railway station is Pudukad Railway Station. The station falls on the Irinjalakuda-Chalakudi railway line. Guruvayoor-Ernakulam Passenger, Coimbatore-Thrissur Passenger and Shoranur-Cochin Passenger are the main train connections. The nearest main station is Irinjalakuda Railway Station.
Both KSRTC and private bus services connect Pudukad to Thrissur, Amballur in north and Kodakara, Irinjalakuda and Chalakkudy in the south.
