[edit] Cancelled?

Does anyone know why it was cancelled? I heard several rumors but nothing official. I heard that it was because the show was completely staged, the producers of the show NEVER looked at any of the "evidence" of any of the paranormal things and just said what they liked to be the "proof positive" ones, that's why things about aliens and the Loch Ness monster type stuff was deemed fake and the remote viewing and past life regressions or whatever always were proven right, which led to it's cancellation.

Is any of this true? I am thinking so because that stupid ghost hunters is basically the same premise as this but it got renewed and this show didn't.

I always heard Proof + was cancelled because nobody really watched it. It was a boring show IMO and the cases were really out there with some really kooky guests. Like the ghost hunters at Gettysburg... oooh, lens flare reflection, must be a spirit! Or the guy in Puerto Rico looking for evidence of the Chupacabra and saying "these chicken feathers will prove it's an alien creature!" yeah whatever dude... I also hated Scare Tactics cause it was just stupid, but it survived longer than Proof +, so I dunno. I like Ghost Hunters better because it's more entertaining, I don't believe they fake anything, I think they just jump to conclusions too quickly and pass it off as real evidence before looking at every viable explanation, plus if there are hoaxes, I blame the producers, because I think TAPS is sincere enough and serious about their work that they wouldn't deliberatley fake stuff. It's made it to 3 seasons now so people watch it. SkeezerPumba 23:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
