Prittle Brook

Prittle Brook is a brook in England, which rises from a spring upon Thundersley Common and flows eastwards through Leigh-on-Sea and Prittlewell, eventually entering the [[River Roach ]] after flowing underground through Southend-on-Sea. It has a few tunnels under roads. It also flows behind a school named Westcliff High School for Boys.it has been urbanised since the 1940's . the banks have been concreted after the belfairs woods area and as a consequence the river's velocity has increased rapidly.
