Princess Akiko of Mikasa 彬子女王 (born 20 December 1981) is the eldest daughter of HIH Prince Tomohito of Mikasa.
Princess Akiko is currently studying at Merton College, University of Oxford. Since January 2008, she has been at The Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford, California doing research for her thesis, "Western Culture in Japanese Art in the late 19th Century." [1]
