Primitive Plus is the 'official' debut album of hip hop artist Edan, released on March 19, 2002 on Lewis Recordings. The album includes frequent references to some of the hip-hop 'greats' such as Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-One and Kool G. Rap. The song "Ultra '88" being a tribute to Hip-Hop group Ultramagnetic MC's and the song "Rapperfection" being created from a line featured on a song by Kool G. Rap. Edan displays his attributes as a rapper, DJ and Producer on this album and displays his ability to rap in several styles and at different paces. An additional track, "Z Force From The Waves of Pluto", is featured on the Japanese edition of the album. The Album also contains a hidden freestyle which can be heard by allowing the CD version to continue playing once the last track is finished.
