Prescott Valley Rhinos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Arizona Rhinos were a proposed expansion basketball team scheduled to join the American Basketball Association for the 2005 season, to play in or around Phoenix, Arizona. After consideration, it was decided that they no longer wished to be affiliated with the ABA. They are not currently active or affiliated with a league, but, according to their website, they were pursuing alternative options.
However, a new team called the Arizona Rhinos has been announced for the ABA's 2008-09 season, to play in Prescott Valley. It's goal will be to "bring integrity and tradition back to the court," with on-and-off-court policies that mirror traditional Judeo-Christian values.
