Precursors is a video game from Kiev-based developer Deep Shadows, who also developed the game Boiling Point: Road to Hell. It is set in a futuristic sci-fi environment where it seems that many political factions are engaged in an intergalactic war. The player will be able to explore a multitude of different planets as well as travel through outer space to complete certain missions, obtain information, as well as buy weapons and supplies in a free-roaming environment. The game itself is described as a "mix of RPG, FPS, and space simulation".
Deep Shadows anticipates that the game will be released in the first half of 2008[1] on both the PC and the Xbox 360.

[edit] Space Combat
What is notable in this game is that the player will be able to fly spacecraft and be able to engage in space combat against other factions from within these spaceships. Spaceships can dock with space stations, and with one another so that the player can switch between them.
[edit] Demonstrations
The game was first demonstrated in August 2005 at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany and at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles in May of 2006.
