[edit] Copyvio problems
The "School Construction and Renovation" section reads to me like a copyvio, but I can't find a source online. -- Avocado 17:23, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
Avacado, The section 'School Construction and Renovation' is not a copyvio. The writing was intended to sound as if it were taken from an official site, without actually being from one. The information contained in that portion of the page, as in the other parts, is completely accurate. I obtained that information mainly from the Poway District site, but some of the other data was collected from conversations with staff members of Poway High School. The section in question will also be updated and expanded within the month of December. More information on individual schools and their progress will be given, as well as quotes from students and teachers at one of the schools.--Lost0890 01:17, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
On 9 December I said, "The section in question will also be updated and expanded within the month of December. Unfortunately I have either had too much homework or been at a family members home to make action out of those few words, so my statement is now false. As a Poway High School student, and a past member of Yearbook/Journalism, I am obligated to eliminate bias in my writing, so it takes a few drafts to make the text to make it appear as someone with an outside point of view wrote the page about the district and its schools. It takes a while, and while I write this message I am also working on one of my numerous essays the are due throughout the next week, so I leave this message in the hope that it will not be another three months before I can return and actually update this page. If anyone else knows enough about the progress of any event dealing with PUSD please feel free to update the page. Lost0890 04:04, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
