Hello The moniker "Pordaria" was derived from combining the words "porisms" and "pseudaria", both of which were works done by Euclid which have been lost. Jacob Walker chose this pseudonym for himself because he wanted a brand identity to represent his more academic and philosophical thoughts and works to the world.

Jacob Jerome Walker received his name from his parent's Keri Joy Walker and Jerome Drake Walker (commonly known as Jerry Walker). Jacob's middle name was derived from his father's first name, which in turn was derived from the name of the doctor that helped give birth to Jacob's father. Jacob had believed for a long time that Jerome was the doctor that helped save his father's life as a child, but learned later this was not true.

Jacob Walker has been recognized as being knowledgeable or an expert in the following areas:

Formerly an expert in modems - once quoted in PC Computing about this topic.^[1] His knowledge is currently rusty and outdated due to not actively being in the field for several years.

General Computer Topics - Jacob has over 15 years experience with personal computers and a variety of computer topics.

Business Systems and Databases - Jacob is working towards his Bachelors degree through the University of Non-Institutional Education in Business Systems with a focus on Computer Information Systems. He is also creating curriculum to teach an information analysis class for adults.
