Pomarolo is a comune (municipality) in the province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 km southwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,264 and an area of 9.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Pomarolo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chiusole and Savignano.
Pomarolo borders the following municipalities: Cimone, Aldeno, Villa Lagarina, Nomi, Volano and Rovereto. The 'city' has a famous church of XIII century, and on the mountain near Pomarolo there are a nicely vignes and a magnific view to the Lagarina's Valley. The principally road is "23rd November's Road" is in the centre of the city and percurred it in very longest. This road is ending at the church but in the road there are many small shops of the principal aliment and a pub, "Corrado Pub's", the "comune" is a very important construction where is located the major(the actuallity major is Giacomo Fasanelli),the "Comune" is a building on the XVII century and is a very handsome building especially in the domestic areas that it's many luxourious. The "Ivano's Shop" is a famous shop in the city, there it sell anything and it give many dependability but it's small and so his possibilities is seriously damaged for to enlarge his fabric. Pomarolo is in the Lagarina's Valley a important small city.
