Image of Pluto and Charon taken with the 61" Kuiper telescope, image taken by Yvette Cendes, 2005. This image is the first image to ever be taken by an amateur astronomer in which Pluto and Charon can be separated. Pluto is the lower part of the "bulge" and Charon is the upper part.
