Ploypailin Mahidol Jensen (born February 13, 1981) is a member of the Thai Royal Family and a granddaughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. She is the eldest daughter of Princess Ubol Ratana of Thailand. Although being a granddaughter of King Bhumibol, Ploypailin is not in the line of succession to the throne of Thailand as her mother relinquished her royal title when she married Ploypailin's American father,Peter Ladd Jensen.
Ploypailin received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, San Diego and received her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2007. She often receives honorary starring roles in Thai soap operas and television dramas. A socialite, she is also an occasional model for Thai fashion magazines and society publications.

Born in 1981 in San Diego, USA and known as Khun Ploypailin in Thailand, she is a grandchild of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand and the eldest daughter of Princess Ubolratana. Her given name was proposed by her aunt, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Ploypailin has a younger brother, Bhumi Jensen (1983-2004), and a younger sister, Sirikitiya Jensen (1985).

Ploypailin graduated from Purcell School, England. She received a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 and a M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2007.

She has artistic talents like her grandfather, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, particularly in the field of music. As a young pianist, she has given performances around the world, including at the Sydney Opera House, and other venues in Europe and Japan. She also has occasional honorary starring roles in dramas and musicals.
