Plaster City, California, is an unincorporated place in Imperial County in the U.S. state of California.

United States Gypsum operates a large gypsum quarry and plant there.

Plaster City is located at 32°47′33″N, 115°51′31″W west of El Centro, California.

In the state legislature Plaster City is located in the 40th Senate District, represented by Democrat Denise Moreno Ducheny, and in the 80th Assembly District, represented by Republican Bonnie Garcia. Federally, Plaster City is located in California's 51st congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of D +7^[1] and is represented by Democrat Bob Filner.
