Pitt Meadows—Maple Ridge—Mission (formerly Dewdney—Alouette) is a federal electoral district in British Columbia, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 1997.

The district includes the northwestern quarter of the Fraser Valley Regional District (which includes Mission, Kent, Nicomen Island, and Lake Erock), and the District Municipalities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and their vicinities.

The electoral district was created in 1996 as "Dewdney—Alouette" riding from parts of Fraser Valley East and Mission—Coquitlam ridings. Its name was changed in 2004 to "Pitt Meadows—Maple Ridge—Mission" in 2004.

This riding has elected the following Members of Parliament:

  1. Grant McNally, Reform/Canadian Alliance (1997-2004)
  2. Randy Kamp, Conservative (2004-present)

[edit] Current Member of Parliament

The Member of Parliament is Randy Kamp, former linguist and academic Kamp was the Executive Assistant to Grant McNally, the former MP, for 7 years prior to becoming the MP. Kamp has also been a retail store manager and a clergyperson. He was first elected in 2004. He represents the Conservative Party of Canada. After his re-election in 2006 Kamp was named the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and he serves as a member on the 'Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans'.
