As mentioned, standing personalities are Allan Pinkerton, President Abraham Lincoln, and Major General John A. McClernand. What about the person at left side of Allan Pinkerton? What is his name? That's Jimmy, Lincoln's bodyguard. He was fired shortly after the photo was taken because he was told to keep his big head out of the picture. That's when the United States Secret Service was created, and from then on, presidential bodyguards all had to be bonded (unlike Jimmy, an ex-con on Abe's wife's side). Jimmy became a Pinkerton Detective after that, before falling off the wagon and losing his job once again. He was moderately successful as an adventure story writer in his golden years, and a mentor to a young Zane Grey, who was inspired by Jimmy to take up the craft of writing. Just kidding.
