Jeanne here. I am the author of Marie of Hohenstaufen. Yes, while you are correct in stating that Leuven is part of Brabant (Flemish Brabant) to be precise, it can still be considered as a part of Flanders. So I really did not commit such a grave error as you implied. See article on Leuven in Wikipedia. And it is a wee bit rude to add such a melodramatic comment about "historians having heart attacks". As if I had placed Leuven in another region of the world! jeanne (talk) 08:47, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
As it is the article does state that Brabant is part of modern Belgium so it looks fine now. I used Flanders to specify the region the duchy of Brabant is located: it was an oversight on my part that I failed to say that Leuven was in Brabant. But seeing as nobody had noticed my oversight I do think it was an exagerration to say it would cause a heart attack. You should see some of the errors I have corrected.jeanne (talk) 09:11, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
I was honestly convinced that Brabant was a vassal of Flanders same as Brittany was a vassal of France. I'm glad you corrected the article. Cheers.17:40, 4 June 2008 (UTC)jeanne (talk)

It was indeed a bit of an overexaggeration on my part, but Flanders, in that time, implied the County of Flanders, which was France, while Brabant was German. But I didn't really mean anything with it. Pevernagie (talk) 11:34, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
