What is CDP? And why are there two articles, very similar except for the numbers. It's not adequately explained. Well, really, it's not at all explained. The town and the CDP are in the same county. Maybe this should be all one article, and if I understood the distinction I could speculate further. - (unsigned)

[edit] James Key0Wallace edit

The town was named after Peterborough, England by its founding father James Key-Wallace, 9th Duke of Wales, in 1760. The town still has many ties to the English city, including a bi-monthly correspondence in the local paper, "The Monadnock Ledger-Transcript".[citation needed]

I removed the recently added section above which I am sure is fiction and vandalism. Although I have no connection to Peterborough, New Hampshire, I have been looking into some edits by User:Dontbothe which all concern a certain "James Key-Wallace", who I believe can be found here. [edit] Merge discussion

Please see the WikiProject New Hampshire talk page for background on the proposed merge of the Peterborough CDP article with this article. --Ken Gallager (talk) 20:20, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
