Peter McCann was an American singer and songwriter from Connecticut, though he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. As a staff writer with ABC Music he wrote the song "Right Time of the Night", which was a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit for Jennifer Warnes in May 1977. Three months later, McCann also reached the Hot 100's Top 10 with his own (and only) hit, "Do You Wanna Make Love", which reached #5.
He has a son, Colin McCann, who is currently active in professional theater throughout the East Coast of the United States
