Peter Crawford (born November 6, 1979 in Mount Isa, Queensland) is an Australian basketballer currently playing in the National Basketball League. At the age of 19, he made his NBL debut for the Townsville Crocodiles in 1999. Crawford lasted at the Crocodiles til the end of the 2003/2004 season. In his 5 seasons as a Croc bench player, Crawford played 133 games, averaging 8 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds.
When the Perth Wildcats basketball team lost their star starting shooting guard, James Harvey, they were looking for someone to fill that spot. New coach Scott Fisher thought Crawford was just the person to do that. In Crawford's first season as a Wildcat, he averaged 16 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds over 32 games. This was said to be his best season. At the end of the 2004/2005 season, Perth signed Crawford on for another 2 years, after winning the Most Improved Player award.
