A Chinese-American born in Manhattan, PeRiDoTs13 has lived her entire life in New York, excepting the few times she has ventured out-of-state on vacation. She was raised by typical Chinese parents who stressed the need to do well in school and learn an instrument. As such, she is a graduate of Columbia University and loves to play the piano.
In 10th grade, PeRiDoTs13 discovered the world of anime and manga when The WB began airing Cardcaptors during their Saturday morning lineup. She has since become immersed in this world, citing her favorite series as MARS, Fullmetal Alchemist (anime), Bleach (manga), xxxHolic, and Cardcaptor Sakura.
PeRiDoTs13 frequently states that her favorite thing to do is read. She can almost always be found with a book, and even when she is not, she is probably reading fanfiction online. Her all time favorite novel is East of Eden by John Steinbeck.
Most recently, PeRiDoTs13 spent 3 months in China, her fist visit since the age of three. She is currently back in the United States searching for a job.

PeRiDoTs13 is pretty much a newbie to Wikipedia, but she takes editing seriously. She corrects when she sees a mistake, tries to discuss things before they become problems, and gets really frustrated with bad articles and vandals.
