Perkins Coie is an international law firm based in Seattle, Washington. The firm is ranked number 86 on the list of the world's largest law firms by 2006 revenue and is listed as number 55 on the Fortune Magazine "100 Best Places to Work in America" 2008.[1] It is particularly well-known for its political law group, which Chambers regularly ranks first in the United States.

Perkins Coie is the oldest and largest law firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, and many of the region's legal and political leaders come from the firm's ranks.[original research?] Most recently, Perkins Coie associate, and former King County Council member Rob McKenna was elected to serve as Attorney General of Washington State. Perkins Coie's first ever female partner, Margaret McKeown, currently serves as a judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.[citation needed]
